Thank you to Mrs. Kayla Wright, Potter County Mental Health, and Mrs. Katie Taylor, from Potter County Drug and Alcohol, for presenting the Signs of Suicide (SoS) to our students. We hope that this presentation provides a lifeline to all those in need.

Last Friday, we had an assembly showcasing all the "Bright Spots" currently with our students. We believe that success breeds success and are so proud to show off all the great things going on with our students.
Mr. Sherry spent time talking about the success within our extra-curriculars.
Mr. Lamber gave a discipline update which we're thrilled to report office discipline referrals are down approximately 24% compared to this time last year. He also gave a 9 weeks grade-level behavioral challenge for a pizza party.
Mr. Eskesen had some fun with showcasing how great our students academic growth and achievement is where all our grades are averaging a high GPA.
Mrs. Bryant handed out a medal and plaque to Dustin G who placed second out of 190 in the e-sports chess Atlantic Conference finals.
We are so proud of all the successful, great things happening at CASD and we're going to keep climbing! Go falcons!!!

Students in Ms. Wiltrout's third grade classroom work with an elbow partner to highlight the adjective in each sentence. Nice!

Mr. Ingalls is proud to show off the recent addition to his classroom. Ari, a student in Mrs. Batson's Advanced Art 2 class, worked with Mr. Ingalls to design and paint a mural for his shop. Always good to add color and art to our school. Great work Ari! Go Falcons!

An 8th grader in Mrs. Daniels’ SmartLab created his first project of the 3rd marking period this week. This acrylic sign was designed on the Muse Full Spectrum 40 watt laser engraver. After he engraved it, he placed it in a LED base light. When asked what he enjoyed most about the project, he replied “Watching it engrave was interesting and it’s crazy to see how fast it is.” This part of the project took approximately 5 minutes. Great job!
