Tonight our two seniors, Mason Bock and Mitchell Taylor recognized teachers, Mr. Marzo and Mr. Andrews for making an impact on them in their educational career. They threw out the first pitch prior to the game and were presented certificates for their excellence. Thank you, Mr. Marzo and Mr. Andrews.

On Tuesday, May 12th, a group of Ms. Keifer and Mrs. Cady’s middle school students participated in Math Options at Penn State Behrend in Erie, Pa. The kids participated in three STEAM field sessions throughout the day, which included designing a bungee jump for Barbie and Ken, writing a program to code a robot to build a 6-cup pyramid, and building a bridge design from spaghetti that would hold the most weight! The kids really enjoyed the day!

Kindergarten had some special visitors today! CARE for Children came in to read a story and talk to the students about bicycle safety. Students were fitted for their own helmets to take home, just in time for bike riding weather! The project is funded, in part, by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the CARE for Children Endowment Fund.

Are you having trouble getting into your local dentist? Don't have a local dentist? Don't have time to take off work to take your kids to the dentist? You're in luck! The Mobile Dentist will be at both the Elementary and High School in May. They not only perform cleanings and x-rays, but some restoration work as well! They accept dental insurance, Medicaid, and grant forms are available if one does not have dental insurance.
